Fit, Care & Safety

DIANA LUME pieces are jewelry for shared moments. A beautiful fit begins with an accurate measurement and continues with attentive, supervised wear.

Measure before choosing

  1. Use a soft measuring tape around the part of your pet's neck where the piece will rest.
  2. Keep the tape flat and comfortably snug without pulling the coat tight.
  3. Compare that measurement with the sizing shown on the individual product page. If your pet falls between sizes, has a dense coat, or is still growing, contact us before ordering.

Check the fit

Once fastened, you should be able to slide two fingers comfortably between the jewelry and your pet's neck. It should not press, pinch, restrict movement, or slip over the head. Recheck the fit whenever your pet's weight, coat, or grooming changes.

Wear it safely

Every piece is decorative and intended for supervised wear only. It is jewelry, not an everyday collar, identification collar, restraint, or anchor point for a leash or lead. Remove it before sleeping, crate time, rough play, bathing, swimming, grooming, travel, and whenever your pet is unattended. If your pet paws at, chews, or seems uncomfortable with the piece, remove it immediately.

Inspect before every wear

Check the cord, clasp, beads, and metal findings before putting the piece on. Stop using it if anything appears loose, stretched, cracked, sharp, or damaged. Loose components can be a choking hazard; keep them away from pets and children.

Clean and store with care

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Keep the piece away from water, perfume, household cleaners, and prolonged direct sunlight. Store it dry and separately so the beads and hardware do not rub against harder objects. Follow any material-specific notes on the product page.
